B: PreCana

This 9 AM to 4:30 PM class facilitated by a married couple offers group discussions, exercises, and presentations that concentrate on the many facets of married life. Some of the topics presented are: the changing nature of marriage, personal growth, and couple adjustment, mutual decision-making, the elements of effective communication, conflict management, intimacy and sexual expression, financial planning, sacramentality, goal setting, the extended family, and interfaith marriage. After you take the class you will receive a monthly enewsletter with articles and information for couples in their first year of marriage. Fulfills the marriage preparation requirement in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

One-day marriage preparation classes cancellation and refund policy: We will refund you the cost of the program minus a $30 processing fee.

Exit the Kennedy expressway (I-90/94) at Irving Park east to Western (2400 West. Turn north(left) onto Western. Cross Montrose(4400 North). Voss Hall is on the west side of the street across from Welles Park. Parking spaces are available along Western Avenue or in the school lot-go north, turn west(left)on Sunnyside, turn into school lot. For CTA: Take the Brown Line to Western stop and walk three blocks south.
