B: PreCana

This 9 AM to 4:30 PM class facilitated by a married couple offers group discussions, exercises, and presentations that concentrate on the many facets of married life. Some of the topics presented are: the changing nature of marriage, personal growth, and couple adjustment, mutual decision-making, the elements of effective communication, conflict management, intimacy and sexual expression, financial planning, sacramentality, goal setting, the extended family, and interfaith marriage. After you take the class you will receive a monthly enewsletter with articles and information for couples in their first year of marriage. Fulfills the marriage preparation requirement in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

One-day marriage preparation classes cancellation and refund policy: We will refund you the cost of the program minus a $30 processing fee.

Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to Harlem Avenue. Go south. Turn right at first stoplight, Harrison, go one block to Elgin. Classes are held in the cafeteria in the school basement. Entrance (single door) faces parking lot between school and church near the middle of the school building.
