First as the Cana Conference of Chicago and now as Family Ministries, an agency of the Department of Evangelization, Catechesis and Worship of the Archdiocese of Chicago, we have worked for 65 years with Catholic and other Christian engaged and married couples to help them attain lifelong sacramental marriage. 
The well-being of all society is closely tied to the healthy state of marriage and family life. Each year over 10,000 engaged couples attend our Chicago area Catholic Marriage Preparation classes to fulfill Catholic marriage requirements while tens of thousands use our resources throughout the world.
We help clergy and parish staffs develop and incorporate a family and marriage-sensitive perspective into their ministry. We prepare couples for marriage and help married couples live out their sacramental marriage by providing marriage strengthening classes and resources and referrals to marriage counseling to help couples keep their marriage vows.
