to Family Ministries. For over 60 years we have worked with Catholic and other Christian engaged and married couples to help them attain the lifelong sacramental marriage they seek. Each year over 10,000 couples attend our Chicagoland programs and tens of thousands use our resources throughout the world.
Our mission is to encourage families to embrace the Gospel through evangelization and catechesis.
We believe that the well-being of all society is closely tied to the healthy state of marriage and family life. When Jesus began his public life he was with his mother and performed his first miracle, changing water into wine, at the Wedding Feast at Cana. He responded to the needs of the family. Through our PreCana and marriage and family strengthening programs and resources, we respond to the needs of today's families as we answer God's call to service to prepare for the Kingdom of God on earth.
